Steve is being disingenuous (I had to look that one up).
Being a good Mainer, Steve knows we never take down our Christmas decorations this early. The tree and wreath don't go out to the burn pile until Memorial Day. The lights in the windows and along the eaves don't ever come down.

Does this mean I have to take down the Christmas tree? But it's so orange and beautiful (highly flammable, but beautiful).
Don't take it down. Just take the star off the top and put a picture of Ken up there.
