How about Abba's "Dancing Queen," or maybe something by Leo Sayer? I know you have a soft spot for that sort of thing and the music IS a sure sign of the coming apocalypse.
Victor, you do know Nerf Herder also plays the Buffy theme song right? I've never listened to Mr. Spock before now. I notice none of them had red shirts on in the video-wimps.

Good Lord, is that Weezer?
Anyway, since it's the Blogpocalypse, I nominate "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" and "Eve of Destruction".
Graham,
That's actually a band called Nerf Herder. I stumbled upon them a while back.

"Ninety-nine Bottles of Beer on the Wall?" :-)
How 'bout an official quote (you know how much I love to quote)?
"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

Oooh, a theme song for a blog!
Mine just might be:
YouTube: Warren Zevon
Of course, if you really want it, I'll give it up.
How about a theme video?
YouTube: Torture Garden TGX
Mike,
Warren Zevon is awesome!
Patrick,
If it's an Abba song then maybe something other than Dancing Queen. Waterloo?

Look again. There was one with a red shirt. And he disappeared, as per tradition (or at least the shirt did).
You need to find some goofy up and coming band to write and record a song called "Go Go Girls of the Apocalypse"
"Mr. Spock" is a great song. Nerf Herder rules. They are the Led Zeppelin of nerd punk.
