Ouch, I hurt myself.

So, here's the thing. I'm addicted. In the past month or so, I've eaten roughly 1200 bags of Cape Cod Salt & Vinegar chips. Sooooo much salt. Sooooooo much vinegar. I feel like somebody has taken a belt sander to my tongue. This can't be healthy.

The factory is less than a half hour from my house. Free tours! Free samples! 1200 bags is like NOTHING!

That little bag was how I quit smoking 20 years ago. And, unfortunately, why I gained 20 pounds.

They're not unhealthy as long as you wash them down with generous portions of beer. I heard that on TV - the Discovery Channel, I think.

I like their regular chips myself. But I'm kinda boring. A big-ass pile of Cape Cod chips and a couple slices of pizza...the perfect meal. Maybe a beer or two.

You should've looked in the pantry when you were here. We are never without fewer than 3 bags of those things at any time. It's a rule.

Victor,

I am really sorry to have to cop to this, but while you were passed out after the beer panel in Baltimore I yielded to temptation and took a belt sander to your tongue.

Please believe that I really really never believed you would catch on to this.

Friends?

My wife and I did a Pacific Northwest Beer and chip tour. A surprising amount of local flavors for both.
