- Victor Gischler is the author of 4 hard-boiled crime novels. His debut novel GUN MONKEYS was nominated for the Edgar Award, and his novel SHOTGUN OPERA was an Anthony Award finalist. His work has been translated into Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese. He earned a Ph.D. in English at the University of Southern Mississippi where they beat him with rolled up newspapers and fed him raw liver. His Fifth novel GO-GO GIRLS OF THE APOCALYPSE was recently accepted by the Touchstone/Fireside imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Crossing my fingers on this one. The vampire genre is tired and has work out its welcome but it anybody can infuse new unlife into it...

Then you'll be happy to know the title is just slightly misleading. Yes, a vampire plays significant ole, but it's more of an Alchemist book.

Glad to hear, it though. Since I am a newbie fan I'll be looking for this one.
I think it seems redundant to use go-go again, but still I can't wait till this book comes out. Can you tell us when it will be released? I can't seem to find it.
