Hello, you wonderful Italian readers. I've had some nice comments come in recently from some of you, and I just wanted to say thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse ... called BLACK CITY in your country. I will come visit you in June and again later this fall. I can't wait!

Do you have any input on translators for your work? If you did would you know the difference anyway?
I've recently read translations from Spanish, Russian, Afrikaans, and Hebrew and really liked the books. I figure a great translator must be key. Not that I can tell the difference.
I think a good translator is EXTREMELY important. But, no I have no input about that.

Hey italian translator of "Pistol Poets" and "The Deputy" is LUCA CONTI, the same guy who translated in Italy guys like ELMORE LEONARD, JOE R. LANSDALE, JAMES CRUMLEY, CHESTER HIMES, DON WINSLOW, JAMES SALLIS, JOSH BAZELL among others hope could be enough! His surname is THE PRINCE of the italian translators, he is a great guy here You are: lconti.com
Matteo,
Hooray for Luca! I am so glad Meridiano Zero chose him for my work. I do not know the translator Newton Compton picked for Black City, but I'm sure he is also a professional.
