Score another one for the Gutter Snipes
Bookgasm has given a big thumbs up to the first issue of Out of the Gutter, and they also had some nice things to say about my story "Final Tally." I've never gotten so much mileage out of a single story. Thanks, Bookgasm!

Walk Like a Lippman
As is traditional on Laura Lippman Day, I offer the following musical tribute. (No, it doesn't really make any sense, does it?)

Venture Brothers Rule
Dear Venture Brothers,
Please hire me to write for your show. I work cheap and I can make coffee.

Gun Monkeys for TV or Film?
I'm happy as hell to report that Lee Goldberg will be taking a crack at a script adaptation of my first novel Gun Monkeys. Lee is a busy busy guy, working with German television, writing Monk novels and working on numerous other projects. So I'm grateful he feels my novel is worthy of squeezing into his very hectic schedule. Thanks, Lee! If you haven't read Lee's novel The Man with the Iron-On Badge, I suggest you run out and get a copy. Good stuff.
